Synopsis
“Ye Shaam Ismat Aapa Ke Naam” is a theatrical presentation based on the stories of famous legendery, every age, every profession. She has taken women problems in their own way and has presented them in contemporary manner. Subjects of her stories constitutes of middle class tradition and house hold life of muslim society. Ismat is found impressed by Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud and she has presented some of ideas of these two great revolutionaries in her stories….
We have presented a collection of Ismat’s three stories- ‘Gharwali’, ‘Saas’ and ‘Ajnabi’. The stories have salt-sugar pinched interaction of two generation laughter riots, different relations shared by different characters of the society compressed in them but all in a light hearted manner….
